About

Bernard H. Campbell is President and Managing Director of Beaumont & Campbell Prof. Ass’n., the Salem law firm he founded in 1993. He has practiced law in Salem since his admission to the New Hampshire Bar in 1980. His practice concentrates on real estate and conveyancing, municipal law, planning and zoning, probate and estate planning, and small business representation, with extensive experience in local property and government matters.

Bernie earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law in 1980. He has built his legal career in Salem, developing deep familiarity with local land records, municipal procedures, zoning questions, and real estate transactions. His education and decades of practice support work involving title analysis, leases, foreclosures, estate planning, probate, business issues, and public-sector matters where legal rules and local property history can be closely connected.

Bernie has conducted thousands of title searches involving property in Salem, Windham, and nearby communities. His real estate work includes lender and owner title insurance, commercial and residential leases, foreclosure sales, quiet title actions, partition matters, and planning and zoning appeals. He has served as legal counsel to the New Hampshire Tax Collectors Association for more than thirty years and as Town Counsel for Windham for more than thirty-five years.

Bernard H. Campbell has held leadership roles in bar, municipal, school, and community organizations. He previously chaired the Municipal & Government Law Section and the Bar Legislation Committee and has served on the Salem School Board. His recognitions include the Salem High School/Woodbury Hall of Fame, the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce Bill Brown Award, and the New Hampshire Bar Association Vickie Bunnell Award for community service.
