Tyler J. Barnett

Tyler J. Barnett is a seasoned trial lawyer recognized for his advocacy in personal injury law. He has built a career representing individuals harmed by negligence, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and product liability cases. His courtroom strategies and dedication have resulted in numerous multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients.

Mr. Barnett earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Law from the University of California, San Diego, graduating Cum Laude in 1999. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California School of Law in 2002, earning High Honors in Pre-Trial Advocacy while serving as Editor of the Hale Moot Court Honors Program.

Following law school, Mr. Barnett began his career at the Law Offices of Michael J. Piuze, where he was involved in record-breaking verdicts, including a $28 billion award. He developed expertise in catastrophic injury and automotive crashworthiness litigation, securing verdicts in cases involving rollover accidents, passenger restraint failures, and defective vehicle designs.

In 2005, Mr. Barnett founded his own firm before joining Yuhl Carr LLP in 2007, where he continues to champion the rights of injury victims. Over the years, Tyler J. Barnett has obtained life-changing results, including an $11.35 million recovery for a truck driver, $13.25 million for a child injured in an apartment fall, and multiple seven-figure awards across motor vehicle, premises liability, and workplace injury cases.

Tyler J.
