Terrence Casey

Terrence Casey is a dedicated lawyer serving clients across Chicago with a focus on municipal law and transactional matters. He provides counsel to both public and private entities on a range of issues, including contracts, intergovernmental agreements, and compliance with the Freedom of Information Act and the Open Meetings Act. His experience ensures clients receive knowledgeable and effective representation.

Mr. Casey earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2014. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2018.

During law school, Mr. Casey actively participated in Trial Advocacy and Alternative Dispute Resolution, serving as both a team member and coach in national trial competitions and building strong courtroom advocacy skills. He also completed a judicial internship with the Honorable John Robert Blakey of the United States District Court, further strengthening his litigation experience and legal training.

Before joining Del Galdo Law Group, Mr. Casey worked extensively in the defense of mass tort claims. He managed cases involving product liability, premises liability, and occupational injury disease matters, gaining hands-on experience in complex litigation.

Mr. Casey also litigated automobile subrogation and medical pay cases, successfully representing clients in jury trials and numerous arbitrations. This diverse background strengthened his trial advocacy skills and provided him with a broad perspective on civil litigation.
