He served as a Staff Editor and later a Managing Editor for the Ohio State Law Journal, where his note on LGBT employment protections was published online in 2021.

Tristan’s interest in employment law deepened during his time working for the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, assisting with unemployment claims during the COVID-19 pandemic. That experience solidified his passion for employee advocacy and inspired him to pursue a career focused on workplace justice.
