Todd M. Oberdick is a partner at Forge IP in Shelton, Connecticut, who advises businesses on intellectual property law. Oberdick earned his J.D. magna cum laude from The John Marshall Law School in 1997 and his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University in 1994. Oberdick has extensive experience before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and has successfully prosecuted and argued dozens of appeals. His representative work includes helping a client expand a patent portfolio from fewer than ten patents to more than 300 over a ten-year period before the client was acquired. He also assisted a small business in developing patent protection and a licensing program that generated revenue from noncompetitive fields.

Todd M. Oberdick has served as president of the Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Association and is also associated with the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys. He is admitted in Connecticut, before the US Patent and Trademark Office, the US District Court for the District of Connecticut, and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. His practice combines technical knowledge, appellate experience, and practical advice to help clients protect valuable intellectual property.
