About

Tina M. Grovier is an environmental lawyer and partner at Stoel Rives in Anchorage who has helped clients with energy, natural resources, and regulatory matters for more than 25 years. She analyzes complex legal issues, assists with regulatory proceedings, and works with clients on strategies for accomplishing business and project goals. Tina’s practice is built around understanding how legal requirements affect energy and resource operations and developing practical solutions to problems involving agencies, transactions, land, and project development.

Tina earned a J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 1993 and was elected to the Order of the Coif. She earned a B.S. from Southwest Missouri State University, now Missouri State University, in 1990, summa cum laude. Her academic background supports detailed statutory, regulatory, and transactional analysis. That training helps her evaluate complex resource and energy issues, identify legal risks, and advise clients on the interaction between project objectives and government requirements.

Tina has advised clients on regulatory matters and complex issues involving energy and natural resources throughout her career. Her work requires close attention to agency processes, project strategy, transactional considerations, and the practical consequences of regulatory decisions. She previously led Stoel Rives’ Environment, Land Use and Natural Resources practice group, which included more than 55 legal professionals serving clients nationally, giving her leadership experience across a broad range of environmental and resource-related legal matters.

Tina M. Grovier has also served as the Anchorage Office Managing Partner for Stoel Rives. Chambers USA has recognized her work and reported strong client feedback about her ability to identify legal pitfalls and simplify difficult transactions. Tina’s combination of long-term energy and natural resources experience, regulatory knowledge, and firm leadership helps clients navigate complicated legal frameworks while keeping business objectives, project execution, and practical risk management at the center of the legal strategy.
