Brianne McClafferty

Brianne McClafferty is a partner and Billings office administrative partner at Holland & Hart. She represents resource companies, financial institutions, utilities, and other clients in business and environmental disputes. Her practice includes commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, employment disputes, environmental litigation, and real estate-related claims. She appears before state and federal courts, regulatory agencies, and mediators while helping businesses resolve complex legal conflicts.

McClafferty earned a B.S. from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in 2012 and a J.D., with honors, from the University of Montana School of Law in 2015. She later served as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Brian Morris in Montana. Her education and clerkship developed skills in legal research, written advocacy, and the federal court procedures relevant to complicated litigation.

McClafferty has represented clients in Montana district courts, the Montana Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court, and bankruptcy court. She has also appeared before the Montana Board of Environmental Review, the Public Service Commission, and state human rights agencies. Her work spans disputes involving mining, public utilities, lending, environmental regulation, and employment, including proceedings outside Montana when admitted for specific cases.
