Timothy E. Corriston

Timothy E. Corriston is a commercial litigation lawyer, managing partner, and member of Connell Foley LLP’s Executive Committee. He represents startups, established companies, and mature enterprises in complex disputes and business matters. His work includes transactions, capital raising, contracts, employment concerns, and daily strategic advice. Acting as outside general counsel, he helps clients manage risks affecting operations and profitability. His clients operate in energy, fintech, healthcare, information technology, software products, telecommunications, and other evolving industries throughout New Jersey and nationally.

Timothy earned a B.A. in Economics from Hobart College in 1983. He received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1986. He later completed an LL.M. in Environmental Law at Pace University School of Law in 1992. His education supports his ability to analyze business, environmental, and regulatory disputes involving technical facts and financial concerns. He applies that foundation when advising companies, evaluating litigation risks, negotiating resolutions, and presenting complex positions before courts and decision-makers.

Timothy has professional recognition that reflects longstanding experience in commercial, environmental, and class action litigation.
