Thomas St. Paul Keaty, II, is a distinguished patent attorney with decades of experience in patent, trademark, and copyright law. Since registering before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 1974, he has built a national reputation for credibility, success, and client-focused advocacy. His practice has resulted in the issuance of hundreds of U.S. patents and a long-standing reputation as a trusted leader in intellectual property law.

Thomas earned his degree in chemical engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana before completing his J.D. at Tulane University. Licensed in both Louisiana and Texas, he is also registered before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and admitted to practice in multiple federal district courts across Louisiana and Texas. This strong technical and legal foundation enables him to handle complex intellectual property matters with precision and authority.

Beyond his patent prosecution practice, Thomas is an active lecturer and educator on intellectual property law across the Gulf Coast.
