Thomas Marks is a Partner who handles Criminal Defense matters for people facing serious charges. Thomas graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law in 2011 with a law degree. While in law school, he served on the UALR Law Review and was a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association.

Thomas served as deputy prosecuting attorney in both Pulaski and Washington counties. In that role, he handled thousands of criminal cases. These cases ranged from traffic violations to DWIs to violent felonies. This work gave him direct experience with many parts of the criminal justice system.

Thomas gained a strong understanding of the tactics prosecutors and police use to convict people charged with crimes. He now uses that knowledge and insight to fight for the clients of Nelson & Marks PLLC and help them through their cases during difficult times.

Thomas also serves as an adjunct professor for the Northwest Arkansas Community College. His teaching role reflects his knowledge of criminal law and his commitment to sharing that knowledge with others. He brings practical legal insight, courtroom experience, and careful attention to each client’s needs.
