Thomas H. Allen is a founding partner of his firm and a leading attorney in the field of bankruptcy law. He holds certifications as a Bankruptcy Law Specialist from the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization and as a Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist from the American Board of Certification. With a career spanning decades, Mr. Allen has consistently been recognized for his skills and service in the legal community. He has been selected by The Best Lawyers in America® since 2010 and has earned a place on the Super Lawyers list from 2015 to the present, including the prestigious “Top 50 Arizona” list.
Mr. Allen earned his J.D. from the Northwestern School of Law in 1986, where he was a member of the Lewis and Clark Law Review. He completed his B.A. at the University of Arizona in 1983.
Mr. Allen’s practice focuses on a wide range of areas within bankruptcy law, including corporate reorganization, business and consumer debtor representation, and creditors’ rights. He also represents clients in commercial litigation and provides services in mediation and arbitration. His in-depth understanding of bankruptcy law has made him a trusted advisor for individuals and businesses seeking debt relief and financial restructuring.
Mr. Allen’s work has been recognized in numerous ways. He is AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated™ by Martindale-Hubbell® and has been listed in AzBusiness Leaders for Bankruptcy/Reorganization Law. He has also been named one of “The Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona” by AzBusiness Magazine.
In addition to his legal work, Thomas H. Allen has contributed significant time to pro bono efforts. He has served on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court’s Pro Bono Panel and volunteered with the Bankruptcy Court Self Help Center in Yuma, as well as the Volunteer Lawyer Program in Phoenix. His dedication earned him the Attorney of the Month honor in December 2013 and a place on the 2017 Honor Roll of Pro Bono Volunteers. Mr. Allen is admitted to practice law in Arizona (1987) and Oregon (1986, currently inactive).
