Thomas C. Nuovo is a partner at Bauer Gravel Farnham, LLP, where he leads a civil litigation practice. With a career spanning over thirty years, he represents clients in employment law, wrongful termination, workers’ compensation, personal injury, and domestic legal matters. His advocacy is backed by extensive trial and appellate experience.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College, Thomas served in the Peace Corps as a mathematics teacher in Cameroon. He then worked as a management analyst at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission before returning to Vermont. He graduated cum laude from Vermont Law School and was admitted to the Vermont Bar in 1993.
Thomas is admitted to practice before several prestigious courts, including the United States District Court for the District of Vermont, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. His appellate work includes significant decisions such as 985 Associates, Ltd. vs Daewoo and Payne vs US Airways, demonstrating his depth of legal insight and argumentation.

He has also strengthened Vermont’s legal system as an Acting Judge and Magistrate in multiple counties.
