Taylor earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2015, graduating cum laude. She received her J.D. from the University of Kentucky’s J. David Rosenberg College of Law in 2018, where she served as Staff Editor of The Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law.
Taylor has been licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Kentucky since 2019. She launched her legal career as a Staff Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, the state’s largest nonprofit law firm, where she focused on representing survivors of domestic violence in high-stakes, emotionally complex cases. She then advanced her family law experience as an Associate Attorney at Widrig Law PLLC before bringing her skills to Miller Upshaw Family Law, PLLC in 2022.
Taylor focuses on complex family law cases involving high-conflict divorce and child-related legal matters. Her background in psychology and nonprofit legal work gives her a unique ability to understand her clients’ challenges and advocate effectively on their behalf.
