Edward Curley is a veteran attorney and a founding member of Curley, Dodge, Fitzgerald, & Funk, LLC. Since 1987, he has been serving clients across Delaware in matters involving family law, personal injury, and medical malpractice. Ed prioritizes effective outcomes while minimizing emotional and financial strain because he is known for his thorough, client-centered approach.

Edward earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 1987. He is admitted to practice before the Delaware State Bar, the United States District Courts for Delaware and New Jersey, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Edward represents clients in all areas of family law, including contested custody disputes, high-conflict divorces, child and spousal support, and complex property division involving multi-million-dollar marital estates. Drawing on both professional and personal experience, he approaches every case with empathy and a focus on reducing conflict and emotional trauma—especially when children are involved. Edward is dedicated to achieving fair, customized solutions tailored to each client’s goals, priorities, and financial realities.

Beyond family law, Edward is highly experienced in litigating and settling personal injury and medical negligence cases. He has successfully represented individuals and families who suffered harm due to others’ negligence, including automobile accidents and cases of medical malpractice resulting in serious injury or death.
