Taylor Duffney

Taylor Duffney is an attorney and counselor at law who focuses her legal career on helping small business owners across New Mexico. She is passionate about providing accessible, straightforward legal support to strengthen local businesses and contribute to the growth of the New Mexico economy through clear and practical legal solutions.

Taylor completed her undergraduate education at Arizona State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015. She later returned to her home state to pursue a Juris Doctor at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2021. During law school, she received the Corporate and Business Law Excellence Award for her commitment to the field.

Taylor discovered her passion for business law early on and joined the student chapter of the Business Law Section of the New Mexico Bar. Through this hands-on involvement, she built strong professional connections and gained practical insight into the legal challenges business owners face. Her commitment to real-world experience in business law laid the groundwork for her legal career.

Taylor began working in the legal field as a law clerk during her final year of law school. She then passed the New Mexico Bar in 2021 and expanded her practice by becoming licensed in Arizona in 2022. Her experience includes supporting clients with corporate structure, compliance, employment matters, and business-related concerns.

Taylor actively contributes to the legal profession through various leadership roles. She serves as a board member of the Business Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar Association and the New Mexico Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the Employment & Labor Section and frequently gives back through volunteer work, including the Roadrunner Food Bank, Wills for Heroes, and the Albuquerque Veterans Legal Clinic.
