Tanner earned a B.S. in Finance and Economics with a minor in Spanish from Utah State University in 2011. He then pursued legal studies at the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude with a J.D. in 2014. During law school, he distinguished himself as an editor on the law review and was recognized for his legal writing and trial advocacy skills.

Before joining Jim Adler & Associates, Tanner Forman worked as a defense attorney, representing corporations and insurance companies in personal injury cases. This experience gave him valuable insight into how insurers evaluate claims, defend lawsuits, and approach settlements. As a plaintiff’s attorney, he uses that knowledge to anticipate defense strategies and build stronger cases for his clients.
