Brant J. Stogner is a board-certified personal injury trial lawyer and a partner at Abraham Watkins, where he represents plaintiffs in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. His practice encompasses high-stakes litigation involving gas explosions, commercial vehicle accidents, refinery and petrochemical disasters, defective products, and workplace injuries. With a reputation for aggressive advocacy, he has secured significant verdicts and settlements, including a $20 million workplace safety verdict, which was recognized as the largest in Texas in 2009.

Brant earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he was a nationally recognized advocate in moot court and mock trial competitions. His legal education was distinguished by numerous championship wins and accolades, including the Dean’s Outstanding Student Advocate Award. He graduated in the top fifteen percent of his class and was inducted into the prestigious Order of Barristers.

Since joining Abraham Watkins in 2008, Brant has built a strong reputation as a top Texas trial lawyer, taking multiple personal injury cases to verdict within his first three years at the firm. He achieved board certification in Personal Injury Trial Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization at the earliest possible opportunity. Brant has been recognized on the Texas Super Lawyers list every year since 2013 and has been named to the Top 100: Texas Super Lawyers and Top 100: Houston Super Lawyers lists since 2019.

Brant J.
