Brant J. Stogner is a board-certified personal injury trial lawyer and a partner at Abraham Watkins, where he represents plaintiffs in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. His practice encompasses high-stakes litigation involving gas explosions, commercial vehicle accidents, refinery and petrochemical disasters, defective products, and workplace injuries. With a reputation for aggressive advocacy, he has secured significant verdicts and settlements, including a $20 million workplace safety verdict, which was recognized as the largest in Texas in 2009.
Brant earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he was a nationally recognized advocate in moot court and mock trial competitions. His legal education was distinguished by numerous championship wins and accolades, including the Dean’s Outstanding Student Advocate Award. He graduated in the top fifteen percent of his class and was inducted into the prestigious Order of Barristers.
Since joining Abraham Watkins in 2008, Brant has consistently demonstrated his trial acumen, trying multiple cases to verdict within his first three years at the firm. He became board-certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization at the earliest eligibility. His work has earned him recognition on the Texas Super Lawyers list since 2013 and inclusion in the Top 100: Texas Super Lawyers and Top 100: Houston Super Lawyers since 2019.
Brant J. Stogner is an active leader in the legal community, serving on the boards of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and the South Texas College of Law Houston Alumni Association, where he was President in 2019.
