Andrew attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. His legal training is complemented by decades of courtroom experience in public service and private practice. He began his career as a criminal prosecutor in Kane County and later built substantial experience in civil rights litigation, employment disputes, education-related claims, tort matters, and trial work involving governmental entities and private parties.

He supervised a busy civil rights unit for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, litigating civil rights, employment, and education cases. Earlier in private practice, he represented individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies and served as nationwide counsel for an international client in litigation across more than twenty jurisdictions.

T. Andrew Horvat has tried more than fifty jury trials, including serious criminal cases, and continues to apply that trial background to complex civil disputes.
