Susan Swan

Susan Swan is an accomplished employment attorney with a proven record of fighting for employees who have experienced unfair treatment at work. Susan began her academic path with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2005. While in law school, she co-led a legal clinic for the homeless and was honored for outstanding performance in advocacy and systemic reform.

Susan brings broad, results-driven legal experience across labor, employment, and civil rights law. She began her career in Los Angeles as a Labor Litigation Associate, advocating for workers in union and labor disputes. She later served as a Deputy District Attorney in Ventura County, completing 19 jury trials and more than 75 hearings, and earning a Trial Leader award in 2009. With experience in both the public and private sectors, Susan’s background includes extensive work in civil rights and employee litigation.
