Susan K. Duke, Esq. is the founding and managing attorney of Duke Law Firm, P.C., where she serves as a leading force in family law. With more than 25 years of experience, she guides clients through difficult legal matters and supports the firm’s attorneys on complex issues. Known for her team-based approach, she works closely with colleagues to strengthen case strategies, provide clear direction, and help clients feel heard throughout the legal process. Her leadership ensures that every client receives consistent communication, careful attention to detail, and skilled advocacy.

Ms. Duke earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and later completed an LL.M., summa cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. These advanced credentials support her work on highly technical matters and strengthen her ability to guide both clients and attorneys through complicated family law issues.

Ms. Duke has helped individuals and families throughout her career navigate divorce, custody disputes, support matters, and property division. She handles all Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) for the firm, serving clients across Monroe, Allegany, Genesee, Ontario, Steuben, Orleans, Wyoming, and Wayne counties. Her deep experience with these financial issues allows clients to move forward with clarity and confidence. As a supervising attorney, she reviews all cases within the firm, helping attorneys shape strategies that protect clients’ rights and promote fair outcomes.

Susan K. Duke is active in professional organizations, including the Livingston County Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association. She also serves on the board of Ticket to Ride, a nonprofit supporting individuals who need transportation for legal and social service appointments. In addition, she has taught family law, bankruptcy, and civil litigation as an adjunct instructor and has written for respected legal publications.
