Sung Yoon

Sung Lo Yoon is a senior associate attorney at Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin, Plaza & Reed P.C., where he concentrates his practice in civil litigation. His work includes commercial disputes, real estate transactions, landlord-tenant matters, family law, wills, and trusts. Yoon represents both individuals and businesses, tailoring his strategies to meet the unique needs of each client. His diverse background and litigation experience allow him to deliver effective advocacy in both state and federal courts.

Sung Yoon earned his B.A. in Politics from Brandeis University in 2009 before pursuing his J.D. at the University of Toledo College of Law, graduating in 2012. He also attended Fordham University School of Law as a matriculated student for the final three semesters of his studies. Admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, he has built a strong multi-jurisdictional practice.

Before joining the firm, Yoon built and managed a portfolio of investment properties across New York and New Jersey, gaining hands-on experience in real estate investing, property management, and landlord-tenant issues. He also worked as a staff attorney at Northeast New Jersey Legal Services, where he focused on landlord-tenant disputes, housing law, and family law matters. This combination of business and legal experience gives him a rare, well-rounded perspective on both the financial and deeply personal aspects of his clients’ legal needs.
