Sung Yoon

Sung Lo Yoon is a senior associate attorney at Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin, Plaza & Reed P.C., where he concentrates his practice in civil litigation. His work includes commercial disputes, real estate transactions, landlord-tenant matters, family law, wills, and trusts. Yoon represents both individuals and businesses, tailoring his strategies to meet the unique needs of each client. His diverse background and litigation experience allow him to deliver effective advocacy in both state and federal courts.

Sung Yoon earned his B.A. in Politics from Brandeis University in 2009 before pursuing his J.D. at the University of Toledo College of Law, graduating in 2012. He also attended Fordham University School of Law as a matriculated student for the final three semesters of his studies. Admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, he has built a strong multi-jurisdictional practice.

Before joining the firm, Yoon acquired and managed a portfolio of investment properties in New York and New Jersey, giving him practical experience in real estate matters. He also served as a staff attorney with Northeast New Jersey Legal Services, focusing on landlord-tenant and housing law, as well as family law issues. These experiences provide him with a unique understanding of both the business and personal aspects of his clients’ legal concerns.
