Hyacinth Leus is a founding partner at Vakili & Leus, LLP, where she focuses her practice on immigration law, civil litigation, and government matters. With a strong commitment to advocacy and public service, Hyacinth represents individuals and families in complex immigration cases while also handling civil legal matters with professionalism and care. She is widely respected in California’s legal community for her leadership and dedication to justice.
Hyacinth earned her J.D. from Touro Law School and her B.A. from Brooklyn College. She is admitted to practice law in California, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. In addition to state courts, she is licensed before several federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Over the course of her career, Hyacinth has been actively involved in legal and civic organizations. She served on the Committee of Bar Examiners for the State Bar of California and was President and Chairperson of the Philippine American Bar Association. She is also a founding member and past board member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association and served on the Advisory Board for the Asia Society’s Southern California Center.
Outside of the courtroom, Hyacinth Leus is deeply engaged in her community. She has volunteered for the admissions committee at Marlborough High School and actively participates in the Loyola Mothers’ Guild. Her professional affiliations include AILA, LACBA, and various Bar associations committed to diversity and public service. Known for her thorough legal knowledge, community leadership, and dedication to clients, Hyacinth continues to be a trusted advocate in the areas of immigration and civil law.
