Steven J. Fromm

Steven J. Fromm is a veteran attorney based in Philadelphia with over four decades of legal experience. He focuses his practice on estate planning, probate, tax law, and business matters. Steven earned his B.A. in Psychology from Syracuse University in 1973 and his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 1976. He later received an advanced law degree, an LL.M. in Taxation, from the NYU Graduate Division School of Law in 1977. He also became a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) in 1981 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Steven began his legal career as tax counsel in both Big 8 and regional accounting firms from 1977 to 1981. Since then, he has practiced law exclusively, focusing on estate and trust planning, estate administration, and tax-advantaged strategies such as marital deduction trusts, irrevocable trusts, and family limited partnerships.

Steven also handles business and corporate law matters, including acquisitions, succession planning, retirement plan design, and tax-exempt organization formation. His expertise extends to representation before the IRS, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, and local tax authorities.

Steven has delivered lectures and seminars on topics such as federal estate and gift taxation and selecting proper business entities. His ability to clearly communicate complex issues has helped many clients and professionals understand critical legal concepts and make confident decisions.
