Steven Fisher

Steven Fisher is an Idaho and Oregon litigation lawyer at McConnell Wagner Sykes + Stacey PLLC who represents individuals and small businesses in personal injury law, business law, commercial litigation, construction law, employment law, and real estate matters. He provides practical legal advice and prepared advocacy in disputes involving financial losses, workplace concerns, property interests, contracts, injuries, and business operations. He has appeared before trial courts throughout Idaho and Oregon, participated in numerous mediations and arbitrations, and argued cases before the Idaho Court of Appeals and Idaho Supreme Court. Steven earned his B.S. magna cum laude in Psychology from Eastern Oregon University in 2003. He received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2006. He gained early legal experience as an intern with the Union County Circuit Court from 2004 to 2005 and with attorney Mark S. Moorer from 2005 to 2006. He was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2006 and the Idaho State Bar in 2008.

Steven began his legal career as a deputy district attorney in Baker County, Oregon, where he prosecuted dozens of cases in trials before judges and juries from 2006 to 2008. He later moved into private practice in Boise and worked on personal injury, criminal defense, and family law cases as a partner in a small firm. He then operated his own law practice for several years, gaining experience as both a litigator and business owner. He later directed litigation efforts in Idaho for a multistate law firm while focusing on personal injury claims.

Steven Fisher brings experience from government service, small-firm practice, solo practice, and a larger multistate legal organization. He represents clients in matters involving vehicle accidents, premises liability, product liability, construction disputes, liens and bond claims, unpaid wages, discrimination, commercial conflicts, and real property foreclosures.
