Steven A. Riley is an experienced trial lawyer and counselor with Riley & Jacobson, PLC in Nashville, Tennessee. For nearly 40 years, he has represented clients ranging from publicly traded companies to individuals in complex commercial litigation. His practice includes corporate and business litigation, securities litigation, class actions, healthcare litigation, and general commercial lawsuits and disputes. He has extensive experience in jury and non-jury trials.

Steven earned his B.A. from Vanderbilt University and later received his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1978 and the Kentucky Bar in 1996. His academic and professional background supports a litigation practice involving complex business, financial, corporate, and regulatory disputes in state and federal forums.

Steven handles arbitrations, internal corporate investigations, employer-employee relations, and matters involving directors of private and publicly owned corporations. He has also served as an arbitrator. Steven A. Riley serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Vanderbilt Law School, where he teaches Advanced Evidence and Trial Advocacy.
