Morgan M. Lawson is an associate in Hall Estill’s litigation practice in Oklahoma City. She represents clients in matters involving oil and gas disputes, insurance defense, and contract litigation. Her broader practice includes civil rights, products liability, corporate and business services, Native American law, oil and gas, and real estate law. She works with clients facing a range of commercial, regulatory, and civil disputes.
Morgan earned her B.A. in International Politics and Diplomacy from Texas A&M University, with minors in History and Leadership. She also earned a Certificate in Advanced International Affairs from the Bush School of Government and Public Policy. She later received her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. During law school, she served as an extern with the Oklahoma Juvenile Justice Court and worked in the law school’s Criminal Defense Clinic.
Morgan began her legal career with Lytle Soule & Felty before joining Hall Estill in 2024. She is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and Texas and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma. Her litigation work covers disputes involving contracts, insurance, energy, real estate, and other business-related matters.
Morgan M. Lawson has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in General Litigation and received the Palomar Hope Award. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association. She also participates in the Mineral Lawyers Society of Oklahoma City and serves on the Oklahoma Bar Association Women in Law Executive Board.
