Stephen earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. He also received a B.A. from the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana. Stephen began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender with the North Carolina Court System, representing clients facing charges from juvenile matters to serious felonies. He later served as an Assistant County Attorney with the Rockingham County Attorney’s Office, where he tried numerous jury cases involving DWI and other crimes. In 1991, he established his own practice, continuing to defend clients and advocate for injured individuals throughout the state. He provides steady guidance to clients during difficult legal challenges.
