Joseph Michael Lehman earned his B.A. in English & Minor in Legal Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2021. He later received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2025. During law school, he received multiple awards for trial advocacy and advanced legal research. Mr. Lehman served as a law clerk for Judge Colleen Reardon Daly of the Circuit Court of Cook County before joining the Cosley Law Office. As a 711 law student attorney, he represented clients through the First Amendment Clinic, the Office of Student Legal Services, and the Illinois State’s Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor. He also worked with the U.S. Air Force Appellate Defense Division, gaining hands-on experience in complex appellate matters. These roles strengthened his commitment to effective client advocacy.
