Shannon Lane

Shannon Lane is an associate probate attorney at Seda Law Firm, where she focuses her practice on probate, guardianship, and adoption law. Shannon earned her B.A. in Sociology from Oklahoma State University. She went on to earn her J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law. During her time in law school, she was elected president of the Native American Law Student Association. She also participated in the American Indian Wills Clinic, where she helped draft estate planning documents for Native clients. Additionally, she helped coordinate educational programming through the seminar series “Stony the Road.”

Shannon has been in private practice, gaining valuable experience and earning the trust of her clients since becoming licensed to practice in Oklahoma in 2022. She regularly assists with the probate process, helping families manage the legal transfer of property after a loved one passes away. She also handles guardianship matters, ensuring vulnerable individuals receive the legal protection and support they need. Shannon’s adoption work involves guiding clients through the process of building or expanding their families through legal means.
