Shannon completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University in 2016, earning a BS in Psychology & Criminal Justice, summa cum laude. During her time there, she was a four-year letterman in cross country and track and field. She later attended the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2019. While in law school, she served as Notes Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal, held leadership roles in the Veterans Law Society and Election Law Society, and earned the CALI Award in Constitutional Law II.
Shannon began her legal career, gaining experience in real estate, corporate, and tax law. Her work has centered on structuring financing packages that balance regulatory compliance with client objectives. Licensed to practice law in West Virginia since 2019 and Texas since 2021, Shannon has represented clients across multiple jurisdictions. In addition to her legal practice, she remains active in her community, volunteering as a track and field coach for Wayne High School and Wayne Middle School.
