Selim Aryn Star

Selim Aryn Star is a Hailey family law lawyer who serves the Wood River Valley. He handles divorce, child custody, child support, parenting time, visitation, alimony, property division, mediation, and domestic or international adoption. His practice also includes criminal defense and selected civil matters. Selim earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Lewis & Clark College in 1997. He received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law–Camden in 2005 and graduated at the top of his class. His education strengthened his legal research, writing, analysis, and advocacy skills. He was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 2007 and previously held licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Selim provided research support for academic law journals before working as a staff attorney in a Family Law Division in New Jersey. He assisted clients with disputes affecting children, support, property, and family stability. He returned to the Wood River Valley in 2007 and opened his own practice. His experience also supports work involving criminal charges, civil litigation, employment concerns, immigration, personal injury, wills, trusts, and probate.
