Sean Robertson is a seasoned estate planning attorney and the founding partner of Gateville Law Firm. With more than 21 years of experience, he advises high-net-worth individuals, business owners, seniors, real estate professionals, and financial advisors on legal strategies designed to protect assets, reduce risk, and preserve wealth for future generations.

Mr. Sean earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago in 2003 and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997. Admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2003, his education supports a practice grounded in tax, business, property, and estate planning law. His practice focuses on estate planning, tax strategy, business planning, probate alternatives, asset protection, transactional law, and real estate matters. He helps clients create customized plans involving trusts, business entities, Series LLCs, holding companies, and other tools that support long-term financial stability, operational continuity, and protection against avoidable legal exposure.

Throughout Mr. Sean’s career, he has negotiated complex commercial leases and managed thousands of significant real estate and business transactions.
