Sean O’Neill

Sean O’Neill is a La Crosse lawyer focused on family law and criminal defense. He opened O’Neill Law Firm, LLC in 2012 after years of practice in the Coulee Region. His work centers on strong, smart representation for clients facing serious court matters and difficult legal choices.

Sean earned his J.D. from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1997, graduating with High Honors and Order of Coif recognition. He earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 1993, with majors in Political Science and Public Administration studies there as well.

Sean has practiced law for 28 years and regularly appears in La Crosse County and the surrounding Coulee Region counties. His extensive courtroom experience helps him guide clients through hearings, settlement talks, and high-pressure legal settings with clear advice, careful preparation, and bold advocacy when it matters most.
