Michael C. Tillotson

Michael C. Tillotson is a Virginia DUI/DWI defense attorney with more than thirty years of focused criminal defense experience. Although he has defended many types of criminal charges, his practice centers on DUI and DWI cases. He studies the law, science, and technology behind impaired driving allegations. His work includes challenging breath tests, blood evidence, field sobriety testing, police procedures, and constitutional issues in Virginia courts.

Tillotson graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Criminal Justice from Kent State University. He earned his J.D. from William & Mary Law School. His academic record included the Alpha Phi Sigma Award for the highest grade point average in Criminal Justice Studies. His education gave him a strong foundation in criminal law, legal research, courtroom advocacy, and evidence review, which continue to support his DUI/DWI defense practice.

Tillotson has attended more than one hundred DUI-focused seminars and courses.
