Scott A. Hall

Scott A. Hall is an experienced attorney who has built a strong legal career focused on helping clients across Iowa. His practice areas include real estate, business transactions, estate planning, probate, civil litigation, personal injury, and medical malpractice. Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Iowa in 1998. He completed his Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2004 with high honors. In 2008, he received his Juris Doctor with high honors from Drake University Law School, where he served on the Drake Law Review as both a junior and senior staff member.

Scott began his legal journey in 2006, joining a law firm as a clerk during his first semester of law school. His legal writing gained recognition when his academic note was published in the Drake Law Review and later cited by the Iowa Supreme Court. This early achievement highlighted his legal insight and dedication to the profession.

Scott has also held various leadership roles in the legal community. He served as President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Dallas County Bar Association. He chaired the Real Estate and Title Section of the Iowa State Bar Association in 2015 and was its Vice Chair in 2014. He also served as a District Representative for the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association for Iowa and Nebraska.

Scott is licensed to practice law in Iowa and admitted to several federal courts, including the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. His diverse background, including six years at GMAC Financial Services, helps him understand clients’ needs in both legal and business matters.
