Christopher S. Campbell brings more than 30 years of experience in litigation, trial, and appellate law. Known for his strategic thinking and relentless advocacy, he has led high-stakes cases across health care liability, construction defense, and insurance litigation. Christopher earned his Bachelor of Arts from Ouachita Baptist University in 1994. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas in 1997. His academic background laid the groundwork for a legal career marked by complex litigation and policy-shaping decisions across various court systems.
Christopher is lead outside counsel for a major healthcare provider, delivering comprehensive compliance guidance and litigation support. He also defends leading insurance carriers in complex construction and transportation claims. In his appellate practice, Christopher has handled high‑impact cases that shape Tennessee law, including landmark decisions in personal injury and securities litigation.
Christopher has also contributed to state legal systems through several public appointments. He was named to the Judicial Nominating Commission and later to the Tennessee CLE & Specialization Commission. His work supports judicial integrity and continuing legal education statewide. He also serves on a disciplinary hearing committee for professional conduct oversight.
Christopher balances his legal work with professional and civic involvement. He’s been part of the National Black Lawyers: Top 100, the Memphis Bar Foundation, and served on committees of the Memphis and Tennessee Bar Associations. He has volunteered with Ronald McDonald House Charities and served on the alumni advisory board at Ouachita Baptist University.
