Saunders Aldridge

Saunders Aldridge serves as counsel in the Savannah office of HunterMaclean and has advised clients in the transportation and logistics industries for more than four decades. His practice also encompasses complex civil litigation, where he represents both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial disputes, catastrophic injury cases, and mass tort litigation.

Saunders earned his Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 1968, then completed two tours of duty in Vietnam as a naval lieutenant. He later received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1975, where he served as Articles Editor of the Georgia Law Review and as a student teacher.

Saunders’ legal career has been defined by deep experience in transportation, logistics, and product liability matters. He regularly advises clients on industry-specific risks, regulatory concerns, and litigation strategies, drawing on decades of hands-on experience representing transportation and logistics businesses in complex legal environments.

In addition to industry-focused work, Saunders has handled a wide range of civil litigation matters involving occupational safety and health, commercial disputes, and large-scale tort claims. His experience on both sides of the courtroom provides a balanced perspective and practical insight when managing high-stakes litigation.

Saunders is admitted to practice in Georgia and South Carolina state courts, all corresponding federal courts, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Eleventh Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He remains an active member of both the State Bar of Georgia and the South Carolina Bar Association.
