Sasha Begum

With more than 17 years in business and international law, Sasha Begum offers extensive experience in domestic and global transactions. She works closely with a diverse clientele—from large corporations to startups—providing legal guidance to protect assets, ensure compliance, and build solid contractual foundations.

Sasha holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology from Tufts University in Boston. She received her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C., and went on to complete a J.D.-equivalent focused on European Union law at Universidad Alfonso X in Madrid, Spain. This diverse legal training allows her to confidently handle international and cross-border legal challenges.

Sasha’s path to becoming an attorney began with a difficult experience in her own family’s business, where a lack of effective legal planning exposed serious risks. Motivated to help others avoid those challenges, she now focuses on proactive legal solutions for individuals and small businesses. Sasha drafts clear, customized contracts and wills that protect her clients’ interests, safeguard their assets, and provide long-term peace of mind.

Sasha began her legal journey at Bracewell in Houston, Texas, contributing to matters in real estate, infrastructure, and the oil and gas sectors. She later joined Baker & McKenzie’s Major Projects Practice Group, expanding her global legal expertise. Her in-house counsel role at Cardtronics Inc. strengthened her ability to align legal advice with business operations.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Sasha is known for her ability to negotiate, draft, and communicate clearly across cultural and language barriers. She takes pride in making legal processes accessible and understandable, regardless of a client’s background or business size.
