Sarah D. Cline

Sarah D. Cline represents property owners, developers, and operators with local, regional, and national real estate interests. Her practice focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and related real estate transactions. She works closely with clients throughout every stage of a transaction, helping them achieve their goals while addressing legal and business considerations.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Hood College in 2004 and later received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Tulane University in 2007. Her educational background supports her comprehensive approach to real estate law and helps her guide clients through complex transactional matters with confidence.

Sarah draws on her litigation and title experience to identify potential issues before they become significant challenges. She advises clients on negotiating, structuring, and drafting letters of intent and purchase and sale agreements. Her work also includes managing due diligence, closing processes, and post-closing matters across a wide range of real estate transactions.

Sarah has earned recognition for her professional accomplishments and leadership within the legal community. She has been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Real Estate Law and Litigation – Real Estate. She was also recognized in the Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Stars Edition for her work in real estate law.

Sarah serves in numerous leadership positions with the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trusts and Estates and is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. She has also held leadership roles with the Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Bar Foundation, and Bar Association of Montgomery County.

Sarah D. Cline is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. In addition to her legal practice, she previously served as volunteer coordinator for Maryland’s Wills for Heroes Program and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Days End Farm Horse Rescue, reflecting her commitment to service and community involvement.
