Bradley M. Lown has devoted more than 35 years to representing clients in a wide range of civil legal matters throughout New Hampshire and Maine. His practice reflects a strong commitment to helping individuals, families, and businesses address legal challenges with practical guidance and careful preparation. Over the course of his career, he has handled matters involving workers’ compensation, bankruptcy, business issues, real estate transactions, personal injury claims, probate proceedings, estate planning, condominium disputes, Social Security disability claims, and commercial litigation.

Bradley earned a B.A. from Harvard University in 1981, graduating cum laude with a major in History. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law in 1985. During law school, he contributed to the Maine Law Review between 1983 and 1985, developing strong legal research and writing skills that continue to benefit clients today.

Bradley began his legal career in private practice immediately after graduating from law school. Since then, he has gained extensive experience representing clients before courts and administrative agencies across two states. His work has taken him to Superior Courts, Circuit Courts, Probate Courts, and federal district courts in both New Hampshire and Maine. He has also appeared before agencies and boards, including the Department of Labor, the Board of Land and Tax Appeals, and the Department of Safety. In addition, he has argued cases before the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the Maine Law Court.

Bradley has remained deeply involved in civic and community service throughout his career. His leadership roles have included service on the Portsmouth School Board, Portsmouth City Council, New Hampshire Hearing Care Board, Portsmouth Historical Society, Harvard-Radcliffe Club of New Hampshire, and several educational, historical, and environmental organizations. He has also coached youth sports and participated in long-term church and community activities.

Bradley M. Lown continues to draw upon decades of courtroom experience, legal knowledge, and public service while assisting clients with complex legal issues. His broad background across multiple practice areas allows him to provide informed counsel and thoughtful representation tailored to the unique circumstances of each case.
