Samantha McCarthy Jarvis is the founding attorney of McCarthy Law, LLC, serving clients across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Her practice focuses on estate planning, elder law, probate, adult guardianships, and residential real estate. She helps individuals and families prepare for changing needs, protect important interests, manage property matters, and address legal responsibilities that arise during significant life transitions.

Jarvis earned her J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law, where the Feinstein Center for Pro Bono & Experiential Education recognized her extensive public interest legal work and commitment to public service. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from North Dakota State University, with a minor in Management Communications. Her education supports a clear, practical approach to explaining legal options and developing plans suited to each client’s circumstances.

Before founding her firm, Jarvis worked for an estate planning firm in Cranston, Rhode Island, and for a Fortune 100 financial institution and trust company. This background gives her experience with the legal and financial issues involved in long-term planning, trust matters, probate administration, guardianships, and real estate transactions. She is licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and guides clients through these matters with careful attention to family needs and practical goals.
