Keith C. Armstrong

Keith C. Armstrong is a Baton Rouge partner with a civil litigation practice focused on construction, healthcare, and complex defense matters. He represents hospitals, healthcare groups, individual medical professionals, manufacturers, and other businesses. His work includes medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense, product liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation, life and casualty claims, and disputes arising from manufacturing and production projects.

Armstrong earned his J.D. from Louisiana State University Law School in 1991 and an undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Louisiana State University. After law school, he clerked for Chief Judge William H. Brown of Louisiana’s Nineteenth Judicial District Court. His legal education, scientific background, and judicial clerkship support his ability to analyze technical evidence, medical records, expert opinions, construction issues, and procedural questions in demanding civil cases.

Armstrong has managed medical malpractice defense work for hospitals, healthcare organizations, and individual practitioners. He has also litigated disputes involving manufacturing facilities, production projects, personal injury claims, casualty matters, defective products, professional negligence, and workplace injuries. His experience allows him to evaluate complex factual records, coordinate with technical and medical experts, develop defense strategies, and guide clients through negotiation, discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom proceedings.
