S. Jason Teele

S. Jason Teele is a Member of the Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Reorganization Practice Group, bringing more than two decades of legal experience. He represents clients nationwide in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, as well as in distressed transactions and corporate reorganizations. His practice also includes commercial litigation and counseling on fiduciary duties, giving companies strategies to navigate distressed relationships with customers and vendors across multiple industries.

Mr. Teele earned his B.A. from Rutgers University, his M.P.A. from Seton Hall University, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law. His academic accomplishments reflect a commitment to excellence and have provided him with strong skills in research, writing, and problem-solving. This foundation prepared him for a career handling complex matters that combine business, finance, and law, while allowing him to counsel clients on both litigation and transactional strategies.

Mr. Teele represents a wide range of clients, including secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees, equity holders, venture capital firms, private equity funds, hedge funds, labor unions, pension funds, and individuals. He has guided clients in industries such as automotive, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, broadcasting, chemicals, retail, and transportation. His practical advice and courtroom advocacy have helped organizations navigate high-stakes restructurings, distressed acquisitions, and disputes involving financially troubled businesses, earning him a reputation as a trusted counselor and advocate.
