Ryan Y. Cunningham

Ryan Y. Cunningham is a founding partner of Cunningham & Mears in Oklahoma City. He devotes his practice to protecting the rights of injured Oklahoma residents. His work includes personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, dog bites, oil field injuries, defective products, and other forms of negligence. He also speaks to attorneys and law students about issues involving personal injury law.

Ryan earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He later received his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1996 and is admitted to the US District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. His education and early legal experience provided a foundation for his plaintiff-side personal injury practice.

Ryan clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Tim Leonard before establishing his own law firm. He also clerked for the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma. His practice covers motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, product liability, workers’ compensation, oil field injuries, auto defects, and class action pharmaceutical litigation. He represents clients in claims involving serious injuries and disputes with responsible parties and insurers.
