Ryan M. Billings is a seasoned litigator with a focus on complex business disputes, representing clients in high-stakes trials, appeals, and regulatory matters. He has successfully handled multi-million and billion-dollar cases in antitrust, commercial litigation, securities, and employment law across U.S. and international jurisdictions.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Princeton University (2001), and earned his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School (2004), where he served as Notes Editor for the Harvard Law Review. His education laid the groundwork for his career in high-impact litigation and appellate advocacy.

Ryan began his legal practice at the prestigious Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City, gaining experience in major corporate disputes. His notable cases include defending a “Big Four” firm in a billion-dollar lawsuit, securing a U.S. Supreme Court win for Wisconsin businesses in an antitrust case, and blocking an international merger injunction.

Ryan has argued and won appeals in several federal circuits, including the Fifth, Seventh, and Ninth Circuits. His courtroom victories include obtaining supervisory relief from the Wisconsin Supreme Court and defending clients in investigations by the SEC, DOJ, and FBI.
