Ryan Knipp

Ryan Knipp has over 16 years of experience helping individuals navigate the legal challenges of debt and bankruptcy. He has handled more than 500 bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings, and has fought for clients facing unfair debt collection and inaccurate credit reporting. His goal is always to give people a fresh financial start.

Ryan began his education at Truman State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in 2000. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2006. His legal training provided the foundation for a career focused on serving people burdened by debt and ensuring their rights are protected under the law.

Ryan started his legal career at a high-volume bankruptcy firm in Kansas City, where he gained hands-on experience managing hundreds of cases. In addition to standard bankruptcy filings, he also took on litigation against creditors who violated debt collection laws and mishandled post-bankruptcy obligations. His litigation work made a difference for clients facing aggressive or unlawful creditor actions.

Ryan is a former member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, an organization committed to promoting fairness for consumers. He has also contributed to the Volunteer Attorney Project with Legal Aid of Western Missouri, offering legal assistance to low-income individuals who may not otherwise have access to representation. His community involvement shows his dedication to using his legal skills for good.
