Russet W. Perry

Russet W. Perry brings trial experience, public service, and legal advocacy to her work at Marquis Law Group. She currently serves as a Virginia State Senator and helps clients through criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, abuse survivor claims, general disputes, trusts, estates, and other important legal matters.

Russet spent a decade as a prosecutor in Loudoun County, Virginia. She focused on domestic violence and sex crimes cases, along with many other violent crimes. This work gave her strong bench and jury trial experience, along with deep insight into courtroom strategy and complex criminal matters.

Russet became a trusted advocate for survivors of abuse during her time as a prosecutor. Her background helps her understand how serious legal issues affect people and families. She uses that experience to guide clients with care, preparation, and a clear view of the criminal justice system.

Russet also served for several years as an officer with the Central Intelligence Agency. In that role, she developed strong analytical skills and handled high-stakes, confidential matters. That experience strengthened her ability to think strategically, protect sensitive information, and approach difficult legal issues with care.

Russet continues her public service as a Virginia State Senator. Through legislative work, she focuses on fixing flaws in the system and supporting victim advocacy. Her role allows her to address broader legal issues while also providing direct representation to clients who need informed legal guidance.
