Ruben G. Herrera

Ruben G. Herrera is the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at Thomas J. Henry Law, where he leads firmwide marketing strategy, brand development, and public relations initiatives. A licensed attorney, he brings a unique combination of legal knowledge and executive leadership to support the firm’s continued expansion.

Ruben earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas, where he participated in moot court competitions. He completed his Bachelor of Arts at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, graduating summa cum laude. His academic background provides a strong foundation for strategic planning, compliance, and professional communication.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Ruben joined Thomas J. Henry Law in 2009 as Marketing Manager. In this role, he was responsible for advertising operations, brand development, and ensuring compliance with the State Bar of Texas Advertising Board, helping establish structured and consistent marketing practices.

In 2012, Ruben advanced to Marketing Director, where he oversaw creative direction and media purchasing across all platforms. During this period, he helped launch the firm’s signature advertising style, which received national attention and earned an American Advertising Award, solidifying the firm’s visual identity and competitive position.

He was promoted again in 2014 to Director of Marketing, Public Relations, and Employee Relations. His responsibilities expanded to include business development, internal communications, and organizational growth, including the launch of highly successful national mass tort marketing campaigns.

As Executive Vice President, Ruben G. Herrera oversees the development and execution of marketing and public relations initiatives that align with the firm’s strategic goals. His leadership focuses on strengthening brand recognition, enhancing client experience, and supporting sustainable growth across all markets served by Thomas J. Henry Law.
