Janie A. Shannon

Janie A. Shannon is an Attorney Manager at Thomas J. Henry Law’s San Antonio office, where she oversees and mentors associate attorneys while continuing to handle complex litigation matters. Her practice is defined by careful analysis, strong case management, and experience guiding cases from inception through trial and appeal.

Janie earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law in Austin. She also holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas. Her combined legal and accounting education provides a strong foundation for managing complex factual and financial issues in litigation.

Janie has handled cases involving personal injury, contract disputes, antitrust matters, trade secrets, and patent infringement. Her work has spanned both state and federal courts, giving her a comprehensive understanding of varied procedural and substantive legal issues.

Since joining the firm in 2018, Janie has taken on a leadership role as an attorney manager. In this position, she directs and supports associate attorneys, helping ensure consistent legal strategy, quality advocacy, and effective case progression across the San Antonio office.

Janie’s practice includes personal injury matters, including automobile accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, company vehicle incidents, and workplace injuries. She approaches each case with attention to detail and a focus on building organized, well-supported claims.
