Ross Neuhauser

Ross Neuhauser is a bankruptcy and consumer protection attorney based in Louisville, Kentucky. With a unique background in debt collection, Ross now uses his insider knowledge to defend individuals facing creditor harassment and financial hardship. Ross earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2012. He also holds a B.S. in Political Science with a concentration in Law and Public Policy from the University of Louisville, which he completed in 2009. His academic foundation supports a practice grounded in advocacy and accountability.

Before becoming a lawyer, Ross worked for over four years as a debt collector for one of the world’s largest banks. That experience gave him a firsthand view of the emotional toll debt can take on individuals and families. Motivated by those encounters, he left the industry and began law school the following month to advocate on behalf of consumers.

Since entering the legal field, Ross has focused his practice on bankruptcy law and consumer protection litigation. He regularly goes on the offensive against creditors who cross the line, suing them when they violate consumer rights. His aggressive approach to creditor abuse sets him apart from others in the field.

Ross is an active member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. His legal work is driven by a desire not just to stop the harassment but to hold creditors accountable and seek compensation for his clients when the law allows.
